Junction
87, which received first place in the 2009 best of
Rim Country Awards in the Best Local Performance Group or Soloist
category, consists of Billy Ichida, Bob Lewis and Jim Norman. The
Junction 87 band has been with the Buffalo Bar and Grill
in Payson for seven years, continuing the "Sunday Jam Session" that
began about twelve years ago at Rye Creek Bar and Restaurant.
In 2005 the band underwent a change by bringing Bob on board, and they
have decided to get back to their roots and perform primarily
old Country and Western standards and '50's Rock and Roll with
some of the most frequently requested "Hoe-down"
numbers that have become so popular today. For
